I’ve always been driven by a desire to do impactful work, shaped by my British working-class roots, the strength and inspiration I drew from my mother, and an early recognition of the power of the TV screen – back when it had only four channels.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminology, I began my career at the community level, supporting underserved youth and launching the UK’s first police school-community initiative in London. A summer internship at a local TV station gave me the opportunity to produce a special report on Domestic Violence in Indian Communities, marking my first experience in media production with purposeful messaging.
When I moved to the USA, I ventured into entertainment marketing, PR, and liaison work, roles that came naturally to me but often felt detached from my deeper values. While in Miami, I worked on the Miami Vice film set, an experience that reignited my passion for screen work and ultimately led me to Los Angeles.
Over time, I worked in various film industry roles and earned certifications in media production and public relations. However, I soon realized my true passion wasn’t entertainment for entertainment’s sake, but creating meaningful content that could spark inner and societal transformation. As I deepened my own spiritual and personal development, I came to terms with the fact that mainstream Hollywood and I, at least at that time, weren’t a good fit. This acknowledgment led me to take a bold leap into the unknown, and to focus fully on a path aligned with my heart and values.
I began by sharing filmed Expanding Consciousness interviews online, long before this type of content became mainstream, while also offering private sessions to guide individuals on their unique paths. I produced several short films addressing social issues, each designed to spark reflection and action, and earned my Master’s in Journalism. My capstone project – focused on integration, wholeness, and the courage to live fully from the heart – was licensed to Gaia TV for five years and continues to serve as a personal development tool in social change workshops.
As I witnessed the increasing normalization and internalization of female objectification, I traveled internationally to interview women about their experiences with beauty, worth, and happiness. I integrated their insights with my own realizations to create a feature film designed to inspire women to embrace their full humanity and live authentically from the inside out. Now complete and ready for distribution, this project aims to challenge and uproot deeply ingrained narratives and reclaim beauty in its most authentic form.
Having worked independently in transformational media for over a decade and witnessing both my own evolution and the industry’s progress, as well as the shifts in collective consciousness catalyzed by the COVID pandemic, I am now ready to contribute to a team that harnesses the power of media to create lasting and meaningful change. With deep dedication to transformational storytelling, I thrive where creativity, strategy, and purpose converge. I’m excited to bring my full potential into more collaborative work that resonates deeply with wider audiences and empowers us all to be the positive change we wish to see in the world.
